"I thoroughly enjoy my job, the people and the working environment at Ulster Stores. My time spent here over the past 3 years has been very rewarding for me. The recognition gave me great confidence and the motivation to do well and reach to a higher level within the company. What can else can I say?... Show passion, commitment and loyalty and you have the chance to succeed and gain a career with Ulster Stores."

He mainly works in Moores, but occasionally helps out in the Captain Cooks and Furniture Departments in the White House. Michael has great customer service skills and is often sought out by customers who know he will always deliver what he promises.
“Having worked in the retail sector all my life, I enjoy working with the public and feel I have really benefited working in Ulster Stores. The whole Captain Cooks team are very friendly and everyone goes out of their way to help one another. There is a great feeling of team spirit in the Captain Cooks Department, and I have come to regard the people I work with not just as fellow colleagues, but also as friends.”
Michelle joined the company as a sales advisor in Moores in April 2002. As an ambitious and capable member of the team, she quickly progressed to Senior Sales Advisor and later applied for the position of Stockroom/Goods In Administrator, where she was responsible for booking in all new fashions stock onto the computerised stock management system and undertaking all pre-retailing work so the stock could be transferred to the shop floor as quickly as possible.
Having mastered this role, Michelle successfully applied to move to Strand House, the Company’s support centre, where she has taken up a position as Merchandise Assistant. Here she is part of the team which coordinates the stock management system and works alongside the buying team.
"I am proud to say I am part of the Ulster Stores team. I don’t look on my post as just a job, but a worthwhile, fulfilling career. I have been given numerous career opportunities and always with lots of encouragement and support from management and colleagues alike. It is lovely working for an ever expanding and progressive company that still has a real ‘team’ spirit. I look forward to a bright and continued career with Ulster Stores."
